Democrats AND Republicans have supported giving money to many countries while having to borrow money from other countries to pay for the Iraq war and other wars.
Is there something I do not understand?

   Because you still have a lot more than many others in the world.
   Poverty is the biggest motivator for terrorists and the like

   Now James, that is the 60000 dollar question. Did you know that when we got all those stimulus checks last year ( I never got one), that Bush sold bonds to China to get the money to pay for it?

   we give money to other countries hoping that they will pay us back with intrest so we can pay off some of our debt but we create debt with intrest doing this in the first place so its a big meaningless circle

   Because our government is stupid! Fix America first then help out other countries. There are plenty of sick, starving, dying, homeless, and uneducated people here that need help first!
